The Trumpet of Tutankhamun is a freeware educational program. It contains a
recording of the original silver trumpet from the tomb of the Ancient Egyptian
Pharaoh Tutankhamun, who lived in the 14th century B.C.
The 'About' page is the title page and tells you about the programme.
The 'Introduction' page contains notes on trumpets in Ancient Egypt.
The 'Sound the trumpet' lets you hear the sound of the ancient trumpet.
Whilst the 'View the trumpet' shows you some photos of the ancient musical instrument.
SYSTEM: Many systems no longer allow you to run these types of program. If that is the case you can go to our musical instructment page under 'Articles' in the menu bar, where at the bottom of the page you can listen to the trumpets being played
